We are pleased to share the winners of this year’s HBIDA Art Contest. Congratulations to:

Their artwork reflects remarkable creativity, thoughtful expression, and a meaningful interpretation of this year’s theme, Art Speaks Louder. Each piece demonstrates the power of art to communicate identity, emotion, and understanding in ways that words alone cannot.

This contest is part of the annual Celebrating Neurodiversity Art Showcase, where students from across the Houston community come together to share their perspectives through visual art. Every student who participated contributed something unique and compelling. We are proud to celebrate their vision and the courage it takes to share their work with others.

The evening will include:

  • An exhibition of student artwork
  • Student reflections and stories
  • A silent auction benefiting HBIDA student support and initiatives
  • Opportunities to connect with families, educators, and community partners

A limited-edition Celebrating Neurodiversity Art Book featuring this year’s student artwork and reflections is your gift with a $35 donation to the Houston Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. Your contribution reserves a copy for pick-up at the event and supports ongoing community programming that uplifts neurodiverse voices.
